This past Saturday, I had the privilege of spending the day helping a family effecting by the flooding in Chehalis. What a humbling experience, Lynn and Oscar Sanchez lost everything. Their home was a complete loss and has been condemned and scheduled for demolition. As I worked I noticed Lynn going from room to room with a roll of paper towel. She was searching for family pictures that could be saved. It was so sad watching her desperately put them in between pieces of the paper towel to dry when she found them. Here are just a few of the photos I took, I feel so blessed for the things that I have but my thoughts and prayers are for Lynn and Oscar and all those suffering with difficulties in theirs lives this Christmas!

Last week we all went to the 2007 Jingle Jam at the Toyota Center. We saw, Lifehouse, Jordan Sparks, Fall Out Boy and Avril Levine. We all had a great time!

Good News, Bad News
Good news! After three stressful weeks I (the #3 ranked branch manager in the company) was told I will in fact be retained! YEAH!!!!!!! Bad news. I get to work more hours for less money! But hey, at least I have this job while I look for another! Thank you all for your prayers!

Quote of the day!
So last night I was in bed reading and Cory in was on the other side studying. Madie comes in and I say "hop in Madie." She climbs in the middle tells Cory to scoot over, he of course does nothing. Next thing I hear from Madie is "MOVER OVER PIG!"
Being the great parent that I am I laughed for 10 minutes solid.

THIS POST DEDICATED TO DICK...
over the past week i have had the following RUDE AWAKENINGS....
1. tanner said, "knock it off park!", followed by "shut your mouth park". i'm pretty sure he got both of those from ben.
2. i lost it w/the kids last night after about 3 hours of nonstop whining, nagging and complaining. parker told me when i apologized that my problem was "impulse control" and that i should have thought "positive thoughts" and taken "three deep breaths". pretty good advice from a 7 year old!
This Blog is Boring!
Come on! Somebody has to have something! As for myself I have lost 10 lbs in the last month, so now weigh a svelt 174 and have 9 more to lose. I guess 12 hour days, no sleep and constent stress is good for weight loss. Who knew?
