DANCE

The girls have both done great at their competitions this year. Only one to go....Nationals in Florida the middle of July.
Nicole competed in 4 groups this year as well as a lyrical solo, a duo with Kelsey, and a trio. The trio has received top score
awards as each competition. She won a scholarship to take classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and was a Dance Down winner at the Convention/Competition in March.
Nicole got 7th overall in the Senior Division solo at the last competition and a high score and judges choice award for "Dynamic Dancer"
at another competition. She does such a beautiful job on her solo, and most people say it is their favorite solo at the studio.
Kelsey is in 8 groups, solos, and 2 dous this year. She received 3rd overall top score of all Teen solos in the last competition. She really
did great at the Spotlight competition in April. She got 3rd Overall top score of more than 100 solos, a judges choice award for "Lovely Legs", and she
also won the Miss Teen Spotlight Award...for this award she was judged on her lyrical solo, she had to give a brief bio of herself, answer a judge's question,
and perform a short dance combination. She won a special sweat suit with "Spotlight Winner" and her name embroidered on it which will be sent to
her soon, and also will have her picture in next years program for Miss Teen Spotlight 2008 in Seattle.

Arizona here we come???

Rick got a call this morning from the Radiology Group in Phoenix where he interviewed a couple of weeks ago. Originally they were going to have him work a week or 2 in the Fall to make sure that it was a good fit. But I guess they are going to make an offer NOW! We are getting the contract and having a lawyer look over it next week.

WOW..it would be so nice to know where we are going this much in advance. We are both excited and nervous. Is this the right decision? Will the kids adjust well? We're really hoping that this will be our last move EVER..or at least until retirement.

Little Stinker

Evan was trying to squirt all the kids at the party. Thanks to Aunt Niki we have photos to capture this fun day!

Ethan's Birthday Party

This last week-end Ethan had a "Mad Science" Birthday party. The after school science program does birthday parties. They send over a "scientist" that does all kinds of fun experiments. She did dry ice, rocket launching, magic tricks, and more. They made rubber bouncy balls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

The kids were watching the rockets being launched
