We FINALLY got power back today after 9 long days! Our neighborhood was trashed with trees down at almost every home. Below is a tree from our house that fell into the neighbor's yard and clipped a portion of the roof.

Oh my gosh!!!!!!!! That is totally scary.. You were lucky. Those trees are huge. Did you have any damage to your house?
To answer you question about Jakes baptism. It is on the 11th and we are really excited for him.
We already have the rain as well. What a pain, I am so not ready for that yet. It feels like our summer was cut totally short.
